Merits of Registered Mail
- USPS can track China Post Register Airmail, EMS, ePacket and Sea/Air combined parcel where are shipped from China to USA. But USPS can not track China Post Ordinary Small Packet and China Post Direct Xpress Mail Parcel even if the parcel destination is USA. - All Registered Service (Singapore) mail items will be delivered to the letterbox and the AR card will be signed for by the Postman on behalf of the recipient upon successful delivery to the letterbox. Registered Service does not provide detailed online tracking capability.

There also is a discount service for senders who send multiple registered mail items using the label for international registered mail items.
Up to 140 yen discount is applicable in cases when discount rate per submission or discount rate per month are used together with sorting discount and shipment discounts such as collection and delivery branch discount and the like.

China Post Small Parcel, also known as China Post Air Mail, is an economic delivery service of lightweight parcels from China to over 220 countries and regions around the world.
China Post Air Mail can be divided into two categories, namely Normal Air Mail and Registered Air Mail. The former offers a lower rate without shipment tracking, while the latter has a higher rate but can be tracked online. Nevertheless, the tracking information is limited.

Fee Calculation
Calculated based on per 10 g rate, the price of small parcels varies from 120 yuan – 180 yuan/kg. Fees are charged on every 10g, for example: items weighed 32g will be charged a fee of 40 g. If the shipping rate is 120 yuan/kg, then the fee would be 5 yuan.
Delivery Time
To China neighboring countries in Asia: 5-10 days, to European countries and USA: 7-15 days, and to other countries and regions: 7-30 days.
Size and Weight Limit
- The maximum weight for small parcel is 2 kg.
- Non-cylindrical parcel: length + width + height ≤ 90 cm, each side ≤ 60 cm, length ≥ 14 cm, width ≥ 9 cm.
- Cylindrical parcel: twice the diameter + length ≤ 104 cm, each side ≤ 90 cm, twice the diameter + length ≥ 17 cm, length ≥ 10 cm.
Disadvantages
The delivery time is usually longer. The normal delivery time to developed countries is about 7-14 days, while for small parcel it might take even longer. Other than that, the sellers need to take into consideration the time taken during transshipment. Goods will usually be shipped to Hong Kong through Shenzhen before sending to the destination country.
High rate of loss: Due to the fact that each country and region’s post office has a different standard of air mail services and the delivery time is long, parcel loss can be a common issue.
Conclusion
Air Mail is suitable for light weight and low value items, such as 3C accessories, fashion accessories, etc.
